Prize Giving

The Sri Lanka Tennis Association (SLTA) has been successfully conducting the Mercantile Tennis Tournament for the past few years with the objective of promoting tennis in the mercantile sector. Lanka Minerals and Chemicals Products Ltd and MAS Holdings Pvt Ltd were the Co-sponsors of the event inclusively sponsoring the Challenge Trophies for the tournament.

The Prize Giving of the SLTA Mercantile Tennis Tournament 2024 was held on 26 November 2023 at SLTA, Colombo 07.  The Chief Guest of the event was Mr. Iqbal Bin Issack, President Sri Lanka Tennis Association, Special Guests Mr. Pradeep S. Goonasekera, General Secretary, SLTA and Mr. S. Sudarshan, Treasurer, SLTA. The Tournament Director for the 2023 SLTA Mercantile Tennis Tournament was Mr. Ganendran Subramaniam, whilst the Tournament Referee, Mr. Chamod Rupassara and the Assistant Tournament Referee, Mr. Lakindu Jayatissa.
